POEM – The secret of happiness
The secret of happiness
High in the sky
Birds fly
Says a bird ‘Hark’
Yes, it’s a lark.
On its wings
It sings
In full delight
In its flight.
It does remind
The idle mind
To quickly find
The reason behind
Its eternal merriment.
What secret has it
For its soaring spirit?
While it files
It makes musical cries
While making musical cries
Higher and higher it flies.
Here its secret lies –
Laziness fails
For idleness brings sadness
And activity generates jubilance.
